04.02.2015 – Economic Calendar by Dukascopy
Hello, I’m Doireann McDermott with another Dukascopy Economic Calendar. Here’s a rundown of the most important news releases scheduled for Wednesday, the 4th of February.
Euro Zone Final Services PMI for January is up first at 9 o’clock in the morning. The preliminary estimate shows the Index has continued to grow from 51.6 the previous month.
UK Services PMI for January comes at half past nine. The Index slipped in December hitting a 19 month low.
Euro Zone Retail Sales for December follow at 10. November sales came in stronger than expected, driven by growing non-food, food and fuel sales.
US Non-Farm Payrolls for January will be released at 1:15 PM GMT. December report came in stronger than expected, adding to the wealth of optimistic US data.
The closely watched US ISM Non-Manufacturing Composite for January is out at 3. The Index lost 3.1 points in December, reaching its lowest level in six months.
Canadian Ivey PMI for January is due at the same time. The Index inched lower in December but it still indicates solid expansion in the manufacturing sector.
And two news releases regarding the Australian economy are up last at half past midnight, including the National Australia Bank fourth quarter Business Confidence. The Index saw no change in the third quarter and remains above its long-term average.
Retail sales for December are out at the same time. November sales continued to grow in November as food, household goods, clothing and department stores sales all posted increases.
